
The Fairhaven Drive-In Opened In 1951 With A Car Capacity Of 800 Cars. It Was Owned By E.M Loew and Theatrical Enterprises/Fall River Theaters Corp. of Boston. It Closed In 1985 And The Property Remains Undeveloped To This Day. There Is A Proposal To Return It To 1951 Pre-Drive-In Wetlands. Pictured Below Is Founder Elias M. Loew, Loew Owned And Operated Over 70 Drive-In Theaters Across The Greater New England Areas.
